Central Van Lines

We contacted Central Van Lines a week before our move. They found a way to work us in. We have had other movers in the past that were late, slow and damaged our things. So happy with Central, their staff and professionalism. I hope that we don't move again for a very long time, but when we do. We will certainly use Central!

Had the team deliver household goods to my home and later to pick up packing materials. They were on time, respectful and hard-working. We appreciated their responsiveness and professionalism and would use them again...

A couple of months ago we quickly expedited our move due to the expanding stay-at-home orders. Joe and his team were very flexible and accommodating, despite the stress that the pandemic had caused all involved parties. The movers were very considerate of social distancing guidelines, and Joe assured me that the trucks were sanitized every night. Thanks to Central Van, we were able to move safely during such unsure times. I would highly recommend this company.

This was our second move with this driver and he is the only person I want anytime we move. He’s kind, appreciative, hard working, keeps his crew working on task, and great with our young children. Nothing broken, clearly packed with care.nnGuy who did our inventory and quote provided fair negotiation and communication. Easy to get ahold of.

I was quoted by Joe to move from WV to another state. During our video walk through of my house, I asked if we could have our own truck to take our belongings to our new home instead of it being put on a semi with other people's stuff. Joe said yes but it would cost more. I told him that was fine and to include having our own truck in our estimate. I signed all the required paperwork with the intention and understanding of getting our own truck. Fast forward to loading day. I asked the driver of the box truck what his schedule was looking like and what time we could expect our items to arrive. He said they had to take the box truck back to the office and load our items on a semi. I called Joe to ask him what was going on and he said he would find out and get back to me. He never did.nnAs far as the actual moving process, I was very pleased with the movers. They did a great job loading our stuff securely and in a timely manner. However when the truck showed up to deliver our items, no one showed up to help the driver unload. The driver apologized because he was told a couple guys were going to show up but they never did. Of course we weren't going to just sit there and watch him unload everything by himself. So we helped him. Everything arrived unharmed and accounted for. I'd like to thank the truck driver again for all of his hard work and a job well done.nnIf you choose to use Central Van for your move, double check all of the paperwork to make sure you're getting exactly what you want. We did not receive the services that we were told we would get.
