Derek was very knowledgeable and and patient in diagnosing my running injury. He was a very good listener, and you can tell he has the patients best interests in mind. Would highly recommend.

I brought my 13-year old son to MRPT to work on a biking injury. Dr. Clark was excellent in his evaluation of my son. He was very thorough and took his time to explain things. I also like that he taught us the exercises to do at home. Highly reccomend!

Both of my daughters are runners (XC and Track) and have been treated here. Very knowledgeable and I highly recommend Mountain Ridge for any athlete trying to stay competitive and healthy.

Things would have been much worse for me had I not found Derek. He helped me avoid surgery and a lot more debilitating problems than I already had, I owe him my life and my ability to walk. Even knowing the difference between walking correctly and incorrectly. Even when I felt I couldn't do something or felt down, he always has a can do attitude that gets you off your butt and makes you walk that extra mile. Don't wait for more pain and disability, make an appointment

Derek is an incredible PT, and I am super excited that he has opened his own practice! When I was a baby-new-runner at age 40, I managed to hurt myself in nearly every imaginable way before meeting Derek (after a disastrous one-visit fiasco to another super crappy PT -- after which I did my homework and found Derek . . . Even more so than many other professionals, PTs are not all alike, and it really pays to find the right one). Derek not only helped me heal my injuries and safely complete my first half marathon and then my first (and second) full marathon during my first couple years of running, but most importantly, he taught me how to better move my body -- improving my running form, cadence, training patterns, etc, so I could keep on running safely and healthily. Five years later, I'm still running, safely, due to the improvements that Derek helped me make in my running form and style. He has great skills and is also just a great person. If you need PT or just need help training safely and effectively, Derek is your guy.
