High Bridge Park has a view of an historical railway bridge that is over 300 feet above the ground. It represents an engineering feat! The Park is both peaceful and scenic. From the High Bridge State Park you can view the bridge and the river. There is a Shaker village nearby. And by following the winding road, you can drive down under the bridge where there is a small valley area. From there you are able to look up to see the rocky cliff that the park is built on. And you are also able see a closer view of the river that is under the railway bridge.

This is a great park with some splendid views of the Dix River / Kentucky River confluence as well as the amazing Highbridge! Well worth the 30 minute drive from Lexington.

Pretty view but has become unfortunately vandalized over the past few years. Use to be so pretty

Views of the bridge and river valley are great. Maintenance of the grounds is adequate.
