Dr. Rezaian misdiagnosed me with and treated me for, Psoriatic Arthritis, for 4 years. When the meds didn't work he just put me on another risky biologic med. They didn't work because, according to 2 subsequent work-ups by 2 other Rheumatologists, I don't have Psoriatic Arthritis or any autoimmune disease that might be helped by these powerful medications with a potential for fatal side effects. It's doubtful that I did at one point and it just resolved completely on it's own, so that means I likely never had it.nnI finally became frustrated with the overwhelmed office. The staff there work very hard, but it's like using a bucket to bail out the ocean. I doubt that I am the only misdiagnosed patient there, as Dr. Rezaian seems to view himself as a saint helping as many sick people as possible when he really has a way over-crowded practice with at least some people who don't even need to be there.nnI am not saying that Dr. Rezaian is not a sincere person who wants to help people. But something isn't right there and I recommend that if you can get a rheumatologist in DC or elsewhere, you might have to wait longer to be seen and you might have to travel a little further, but that is much better than taking dangerous medications you don't need while not getting better for 4 years.

I like Dr. Rezian, he has helped with my Lupus problems. However, I will never go back. They don't answer the phone at the office and DO NOT return phone calls. The doctor prescribed a medication that required prior approval from insurance which I received. The office never called the medication to my pharmacy in spite of my 5 phone calls and messages. Also, I had a UTI which he was to call in an antibiotic for. He never did. My UTI got so bad I had to go to the hospital for IV antibiotics. There is no follow through, none. How can a physicians office operate l8ke this?

The staff and Dr Rwzaian are very compassionate people. They have a very nice office.

My mother goes here - she is made to sit and wait at least 2 hours per visit. She does like the doctor, but the wait - especially for someone with her health issues - is ridiculous. The staff don't always return calls. I would say 1 star, but my sweet Mama tries to focus on the positive and says 3

Saw Dr. in January 2019: long wait time to see Dr. Was put on medication, have run out now as staff will NOT return any type of correspondence from myself or medication company. I have contacted them approximately 7 or 8 times no response. Have sent medication forms to be filled out by Dr. not done as of today, March 09; 2020. Medication company has advised me they have called and faxed forms several times; no response. Staff has sent me letters from Dr. Rezaian to my home which should have gone to referring Drs, not just for myself but other patients, Great privacy, not. Of course I returned to Dr. Rezaians office and requested they correct the address. Like Dr. but staff needs better training.
