The Moody Gardens Hotel was mediocre! We have stayed in hotels for far less with better service. The staff just seemed short handed and were not overly friendly as I would expect from a facility you pay over 200 a night for. However, if they truly are short staffed I do not blame them for their less than friendly vibes.nnThe indoor and outdoor pools were clean and loved by our family.nnThe best part of the entire stay at Moody Gardens is the pyramids, hands down. The aquarium was very busy, but wonderful and appeared to be cleaned frequently. The Rainforest was also clean and fun. Definitely pay for the day pass if you plan to do more than one pyramid. It is well worth the money for all of the nature you will see up close with great picture opportunities, food courts for in between and refreshments.

Really liked enjoyed going. Nice aquarium!! I liked all the sea creatures in the aquarium. I also liked the birds and snakes the pyramid offered. It was a great experience. We went at noon and it was not super busy. This is a good place to go

I was there on a Saturday morning and was able to avoid crowds by being there when they open at 10 a.m. I loved the aquarium pyramid! The penguins, sea lions and the seals were my favorites. They have live corals, a touch tank and many fish and the kids who were visiting looked super excited.nnThe greenhouse pyramid was great with many different tropical plants, flowers, and trees. You can see birds flying around and they even had a couple of monkeys.nnThe third pyramid is a kids museum and not much for adults. But overall, a really cool place to visit and if you’re a nature lover, you’ll enjoy the few hours you spend there.

We took baby #2 here for her 1st birthday and it was well worth the price and we didn't even see everything. I personally think the aquarium alone is worth the money and the rainforest pyramid just takes it over the top. Both of our kids got a kick out of the many different vantage points that the animals could be seen and the variety of wild life was incredible. I also give them many thumbs up for for cleanliness and taking the appropriate measures to ensure that everyone could enjoy the facilities safely. Needless to say, we'll be back.

It was so fun. We got to see the snakes, and other animals. And the price is good. By paying 1 time you get to ride on the boat go to accquarium and the rain forest and the water park. You can't go to the water park right now until May 13. But it is very fun place to visit.
