Our family goes to Goodwill on Sunday afternoons and usually have a great experience because each of us find something we can really use and enjoy. Sadly our idea to drive out to Hutto and check out their location was a BIG mistake. After about 20 minutes of shopping a cashier made an announcement that “shoppers with children need to make final selections and come to the register.” Our 5 kids looked up and asked us if that meant we had to leave. I wanted to keep shopping but my husband didn’t like the way the cashier was glaring at our family. We made our way to the registers where the cashiers rushed our transactions and avoided eye contact with us. It was only 5:20pm so we kept our face masks on and checked out the location off of Hwy 130 where we found even better finds and were able to exchange the items from the Hutto location. We won’t be visiting Goodwill Hutto anytime soon and recommend families with young children beware. They will make intercom announcements and glare at your kids. Also we noticed Hutto is still printing the old style receipts with the 10% off survey reward. Goodwill Central Texas discontinued their survey website and 10% coupon program about 2 months ago. They will not honor the 10% coupon at this time.

Hutton . The store was good have very nice things inside the store very clean store very organized store love the store but the cashier today which is March the 16th her name was Belinda was very rude to me and my husband was not courteous to me and my husband and disrespectful to me and my husband and that needs to be corrected by someone soon as possible because no one deserves to come in there and spend their money on this stuff in the store and you get treated so badly I hope administration are the managers take care of this issue because it needs to be corrected she shouldn't be there if she's not happy.

Beware of IMPULSE buying when entering this retail environment.nnVarious types of items for secondhand usebnb at a reasonable price. There are a handful of items, not previously donated, sold brand new. These items are not necessarily reasonably priced; for example, 10 foot charging cord for $10 :OnnMary Lou checked me out very efficiently. One item was unmarked and, in her honesty, she called for a price checker vs assigning a random, agreed upon price. This individual never came, however, it did not reflect on Mary Lou whatsoever, but rather her supervisor. I opted out of item in question.nnSuggest empowering your employees here to avoid loss of $$$.nnThank y'all for the community service [and the frequently used donation drop off]!
