I already knew I liked H-E-B but they have really made me one of their biggest fans!! Thursday February 18 was still a very cold day and I heard on the news we were going to have another hard freeze so headed out to get my 8 yr old a small chocolate birthday cake. I live closer to the Walmart so I stopped their first, I saw everyone clearing out of the parking lot so I quickly pulled up front, I had $20 bill, I asked if I could just grab a small cake or have someone get one for me, they could keep the change but without hesitation-NO. I said please, it’s my little one’s birthday, people are still checking out, NO. I was so upset, I heard some people mention H-E-B was closing early too because of the weather but I thought I didn’t have anything to lose, I headed over there. I did the same thing, I pulled upfront, I asked if I could somehow get a cake for my daughters birthday and without hesitation, the manager asked me to wait and he would see if they had one, AND came back out with what I believed was the most perfect cake in the world!! Such gestures of kindness are not lost with us, we LOVE spending our hard earned money at a place that values their customers and shows it!! So we drive on the other side of the overpass, we will do it without hesitation from now on! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!

This pharmacy is the best. They have low prices and if something falls into the $4 pricing they have, it overrides your insurance and automatically puts you in at that price which saves you money!!!! Other places don't always do that. Anytime you have a new prescription you automatically talk to a knowledgeable pharmacist. This is a busy pharmacy but they take the time with each person to make sure they have all questions answered.
