Beautiful campus overlooking downtown Austin. Founded by the order of Holy Cross as a Catholic boys school in 1873 and by 1921 had became a college and in 1925 reached the status of a university. The Main Building, after being destroyed by a fire, was rebuilt in 1903 in the Gothic revival style reminiscent of the great universities of the east. St. Edwards University is a fascinating part of Austin history that many Austin residents are unfamiliar with.

Great campus. Big sports area (soccer field, baseball field, etc.). Had a walk around Sunday morning. Feel good.

Fine arts theater, Moody hall, And moody northern theater. Also Excellent sports.
