Apparently you can not give video evidence of reckless driving to them because they can't use it to charge them. They keep telling me they need to be caught in the act which is stupid bc if someone steals they can use that as evidence but not endangering lives and property on the road. Makes sense

I own a local business - a software development company. When I got in to work in the morning, I unlocked the doors for the rest of our employees to enter.nnA homeless person entered and made himself at home in our lobby a few minutes later. After a member of our team spoke with the man and politely asked him to leave, I called APD via 911. APD sent two officers who, without calling me as I had requested, apparently spent approximately two minutes inspecting the scene (2 minutes, 24 seconds to be exact), did not find the person in question, and left (all without contacting me on the phone number I provided).nnI do not know where they looked - the homeless person remained seated on the couch in our lobby the whole time APD later reported it was on the scene. I only found out about APD's response (or lack thereof) after calling 911 back about an hour later (and after the person had left). Ultimately, I had to coax the homeless person out of our lobby myself after he had spent almost an hour there.nnFortunately, the homeless person was not dangerous and nothing bad happened. With that said, I expect much, much more from our police department as it fulfills its mission to 'serve and protect'.

They were very gentle while handcuffing me. Did not curse or call me any racial slur. The police car smelled nice and was very roomy in the back. Would get arrested by them again.

DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU NEED HELP!nMy vehicle was broken into and they stole my 9mm pistol, I knew this station was around the corner and drove there...no police officers in the lobby or behind the desk but the door was open to the back. I yelled back there to see if anyone was working and a maintenance man came up and told me to call 911...FROM INSIDE THE POLICE STATION!nHe then told me no police officers are at the station and closed the door...I called 911 and they told me to wait outside...3 hours later after at least 20 cop cars passed me I was still unassisted.nI wanted them to fingerprint my car but stolen firearms seem to be the least of the APD's worries.nDO NOT GO HERE IF YOU NEED HELP!
