We spent a perfect week in March here, just after the historic snow and freeze. We were met by friendly staff each day who helped us sort out laundry, replaced what we needed by way of towels in a way that kept the current reality of our pandemic times in mind. The Courtyard room with the enclosed patio overlooking the lounge area and pool was perfect for working in the day and enjoying take out from the many, many tasty restaurants within an easy walk. Jo’s for coffee, tea, donuts, breakfast tacos, and much more was also super nice and handy. Thanks for making our week lovely.
Such an amazing experience at Hotel San Jose - the staff was SO friendly and accommodating. We needed to stay here after losing power during the Texas storms. Everybody was so sweet and helpful, and I only wish we were in Austin longer to spend more time there.
Great service, clean and large rooms, beautiful view. Stayed here for the weekend and it was a great experience. Location is great! Plenty of good food and things to do close by. I'll be back here!!
I went with my boyfriend back in October. Their pictures don’t lie; the hotel is super beautiful and the staff were all very personable and friendly. They even offered a choice of room when when we checked in. Plus, all the trees and foliage do a pretty good job at muffling the sound from South Congress. Why go to a chain?? This is the authentic Austin place!
I really enjoy going to Hotel San José for Micheladas and popcorn in the courtyard on a nice day. The rooms are also cute, clean, and comfy! My partner, our dog, and I stood here for Valentine's (the night of Snowmageddon) and even that was a fun experience. Highly recommend.
