We called 3 different cremation services when my uncle died. When we compared quotes and talked to the funeral directors, it was a clear choice to use Melissa with Green Cremation. She is kind and she kept her promise to keep us informed while caring for my uncle. I highly recommend this funeral home.
My baby wasn't supposed to die. I wasn't supposed to be faced with choosing a funeral home for my firstborn at age 35. Yet... here I was.nWe used google from my bed in the hospital, and my husband began the arduous task of reaching out to a few funeral homes for information. After a few calls, he seemed to struggle and took a break... he stated they felt cold on the phone, and emulated false empathy. Then, in that next round of calls, Melissa answered. From that first moment to the morning she brought the tiny Glass Orb containing our beautiful baby's cremated remains home was like dealing with a friend we had known for years. She even surprised us and had taken a casting of our darling's tiny foot... my husband often cradles it to his cheek when our heart's are aching.nThank you Melissa, Kermit (they have a therapy dog, he is the most soulful lovebug!), and Green Cremation Texas for being who we needed at the most heartbreaking times of our lives.

We were given a list of funeral homes by hospice from the Funeral Consumers Alliance. Green Cremation Texas was not the lowest priced, nor were they the highest- but after our experience with them, we would have gladly paid 4xs more for the service and security we received. Communication was excellent, and this literally could not have been an easier process during a troubling time.
Melissa was very easy to work with, very helpful, and understanding of our wishes. She helped make Momma’s celebration of life the way Momma wanted it. THANKS!
