Enterprise Rent-A-Car

Worst enterprise location of them all. Scam artists that are always just looking for a way to charge you more money. Do yourself a favor and look at the previous reviews to see all the fraud going on here. I’ve rented two times from this location. The first time they searched high and low trying to find some sort of damage on the car but couldn’t. We’re not talking a quick glance over like most enterprise locations do but going to far as getting down on the ground to look at the bottom of the bumpers. I thought this was strange the first rental process but now on the second one I’m getting extra fraudulent charges on my receipt. I filed your charge as fraud with the credit card company. The only reason this place gets any business is by having the enterprise name with they do their best to tarnish every single day. Don’t bother telling me you want to contact me to look into this matter as I already tried. I called and the “manager” is one of the crooks. Good riddance.

What a headache! They don't tell you up front what you need. Kept getting what they asked for and they kept asking for more!! The manager was an absolute jerk!!! I hope the jerk reads this!!! Never got into a rental with them, needless to say. Go somewhere else. Save yourself the trouble!!! My first review ever because the customer service was that bad.

I use Enterprise rentals every now and then and for work. This rental was from and accident my truck was involved in just before Christmas. Enterprise reached out to me trying to schedule an appointment and we did so on 12/29/20 at Calibre Collision where they would meet me. The appointment was for 1/4/21 for 10am at Calibre Collision. I arrived before 10am to Calibre and completed my check in. I asked the receptionist if Enterprise was here yet. They said no. She offered to call them, which she did. I turned my vehicle over to Calibre at which time the Enterprise rep called me at 10:10am and said he would be there in 15 minutes. He said it would be easier to provide the vehicle at the shop rather than drive back to Enterprise. I believe that was already the plan when we made the reservation. The gentlemen showed up flustered and rushed. We went over the paperwork and the truck rental. He apologized to me because the previous renter did not fill the gas tank up and left it at 1/8th of a tank, virtually empty. (I am pretty sure enterprise charged the guy for a tank of fuel but never actually filled it up). So I take the vehicle and leave. As I am driving down the freeway to go home I see stuff flying out of the bed of the truck littering the highway; a large folded box and papers. Enterprise didn’t even clean the bed of the truck. When I returned home I looked in the bed any found Christmas ornaments and a pair of pants still in the bed. I took a picture but cannot add it to this post. Worst service I’ve ever had. Later I had to turn the rental in for a different vehicle and reached out to the same enterprise location about returning the vehicle. The gentlemen who I spoke with was the same person I initially dealt with (I will not mention his name publicly) and he said I could turn it in to a different location where I was picking up another vehicle. As we ended the call, I said thank you and he hung up on me without saying a word. Don’t know if this is how they operate or if they were short handed, which in either case is not my issue. Just not the service I come to expect from such a large company. I am open to further discussion with enterprise. I rated a 2 star because I did get a truck as promised. That was the only positive of this experience.

Do not use enterprise. Especially this location. We flew from Philadelphia to Austin to view homes with our 3 young children. We arrived via taxi to pick up our reserved rental. We had a layover and our second flight was slightly delayed. When we arrived we were told, and I quote, “ I hate to be be the one to break it to you, but we don’t have anything available for you”. They claim they hold the car for 1 hour. They said they tried to call us but we were in a plane. Mind you we were only 2 hours late. The manger came out and said sorry we hold the car for 1 hour. There are no rentals available in the Austin area. So we were stranded with 2 kids in car seats. The manager wasn’t willing to help us at all. He was rude. I have never in my many years of rental experiences dealer with something like this happening. We are still waiting for some from corporate to make this right. Meanwhile my husband has to pay $100 for an Uber to drive down to San Antonio for a rental car so we can tour homes today. Do yourself a favor and use a more reputable car rental agency with a more professional crew.
