Cars are available at peak times. Very friendly and clean. Cars are well maintained, clean and sanitized. Best to fuel on your own since fueling cost is way overpriced if returned to be fueled.
Careful with the fine print on the contract in the days of covid. One of the things they blast past when asking for initials is that you need to clean the car before you return it. When asked specifically if they clean the car the answer was NO. I don't remember needing to go clean a car before returning it before and I don't know if this is something special for cars that aren't at an airport. Either way, we had to pay them to vacuum. And the rate specified on the contract... $250!!!!!!! Suddenly Enterprise is looking really good.
This Avis location is my go to location in Austin. I commute 25 minutes to rent from this location because of the excellent service they provide. Khalid (Manager) has always provided excellent customer service and cares about my experience. The cars/SUV's I have rented have been clean and run well. I highly recommend this location.
They said I could rent a car with my debit car. Paid 30 for a cab. Then when I got there they said they couldn't accept a NETSPEND debit card.
I have been renting from Avis since 1980. They are great and I have no complaints. Although now I use UBER more then rent.
