I have watched D'Lytha lead hundreds of children in vocal warm-ups and teach harmonies as a Musical Director for local theatres. I have also witnessed amazing results and happy voice students after her Fort Worth Voice Lessons. Recently, I had the privilege of watching D'Lytha teach one of her online voice lessons. It was amazing the quality of picture, sound, and instruction. I highly recommend D'Lytha if you are looking for a voice teacher. She teaches children and adults, alike, from the beginner to the advanced.

I can’t say enough about D'Lytha’s teaching style and professionalism. I have been doing weekly lessons for about a year and half and went from being just a community theater “chorus girl” dancer to having a solo singing number in an Equity-level regional professional theater in one year - with 5 shows in between. She is very patient and insightful with regards to my capabilities and appropriate song selection. As a “dancer who can carry a tune” I was a little nervous to start but the Skype element really helped. Also, being able to reach her while living in Florida or NYC. I appreciate her reliability and down-to-earth approach. My singing has improved immensely, I’ve gained confidence and booking more auditions than I ever would have imagined. Thank you so much! -Jessica Hayden

D'Lytha is the best! My son has taken lessons with her for the past 2 years. He has landed some pretty great roles and gotten callbacks for some super shows; D'Lytha gives him the skills and confidence that he needs!!!

We had been looking for a voice lesson coach for our 9 year old daughter for a while when we found D’ Lythia. At first I was taken back by the set up she had. I was expecting a studio of some sort. I gather she does work at a studio but the private voice lessons are done in her home. I was instructed to walk to the side of the house and wait outside by the sliding door till it was our turn. Once we were inside I was taken back by my surroundings but I decided to give it a shot. She didn’t say much and got to work right away, which I appreciated at first. When the lesson was done she again didn’t say anything. She was very unfriendly. When we left my daughter and I were so happy because we felt that we finally found someone that could give her the knowledge she needed, but that ended shortly due to D’ Lythia texting my husband that she had to give our spot away. She sent a screenshot of a conversation we had where I had to cancel one day- on that text she explained her need for a 24 hour notice. After that 1st initial text we then abided by her guildlines. So we were shocked when she gave our daughter’s time slot away, a time slot that I didn’t even clearly know was my daughter’s on a weekly basis because we never discussed this! My daughter is heartbroken to say the least, so of course I’m upset with her lack of communication and unprofessionalism. I was willing to take my daughter there despite the surroundings because I felt that she was knowledgable in her field. Now if we had an agreement about how many days a week we would be there or even had spoken at all about expectations then I would have completely understood. We canceled once within 24 hours and once 20 hours before our appointment. Life happens and things come up, but that gave her plenty of time to schedule someone else. We were never on an agreement and paid extra to take our daughter at the times that were best for our family. Not to mention she changed the time on us all the time, on the same day, and we never had a problem with that until now.nIf it was me and I ran a business out of my home where my family was I guarantee I would have a face to face meeting with my clients beforehand! But I know I can’t expect people to do what I would do.nnI will give her credit for being a good instructor. I didn’t have a problem at all with that. I would just suggest if you do decide to take your child to her that there be clear expections of your lesson times and days.
