Had an amazing date with my girlfriend here! Just enjoying the art and also sketching! Tho I must admit I am not very goodud83dude02 but it was still fun none the less. The collection is amazing and the staff was so nice! I will definitely be returning!!
Loved the permanent collection that's free entry and can't wait to come back for the Egyptian exhibits! Also there is a park nearby that's perfect for an after museum picnic. Super covid safe and even for a Saturday it wasn't over ran with people. Loved it and the art was literally astounding to see in person. Unbelievable pieces and I adore the post card art you can buy! I got to take some of my favorite pieces home with me!
We've been living here now for almost 18 years, and the Kimbell has always had world class exhibits and has never disappointed. We are always impressed with the staff, the organization and the selection of pieces. Their permanent collection is rather impressive as well. This is a town with a lot of culture, rivaling Dallas and larger cities in the nation. We went on this occasion to see the Neffertari exhibit and were really impressed. Good job Kimbell!
Had a really good time at the Queen Nefertari exhibit. It was beautifully displayed ANDnreally informational for anyone that's interested in Egyptian history. The museum complied to social distancing & mask guidelines (required to cover nose + mouth and extra masks were provided by the museum in case there was a malfunction by a guest). Can only come in parties of 5 or less, but still a really good time if you're looking to see something truly unique and well preserved.
The Kimbell is one of my favorite places in Texas. It is a great way to spend a day. There are continually high-caliber exhibits on top of a extensive and impressive permanent collection that never gets old. I make the trip from East Texas several times a year for new exhibits. The museum is always clean and the flow through galleries is intuitive for visitors. There is ample parking for the facility and having the Modern Art Musuem of Forth Worth across the parking lot is a huge perk.
