It's a cute and well maintained non profit library, built out of what appears to have been a rezoned house. I took my family there for an after hours live music event and voter registration drive, and we had a blast.nnThe people there were amazing; the performers were wonderful; and the book selection was very good. They also had a great kids section.nnI don't get out to Fort Worth often, but this is one of the many hidden gems of the city and worth a visit next time I'm in the area.
We had my daughter's 8th birthday party here this past weekend. I really wanted a space where the kids could sit at tables and paint for her painting party I planned and then run around while we set up for food and cake. It worked out perfectly. The kids had a great time, the parents socialized on the sofa and chairs in the main library and we put the paintings out on the patio to dry. Several of the parents and children loved the library so much, they have asked the hours so they can come back on their own time. I highly recommend utilizing their rental space.
Great library. Its neat and clean.
