Just picked up the most beautiful pieces of jewelry I have ever worn. Gayla was amazing during the whole experience. She found for me a 2ct stone and we bought a new wedding ring set. She put a rush on it and had it completely ready for me in one week. Her price was amazing and she even included an appraisal. I found her by referral and now I see why she is so loved. I highly recommend her for a your next jewelry purchase. 5 star experience

I have worked with Gayla at Southern Gem on two pieces of jewelry; she was an absolute pleasure each time. Gayla is extremely talented, creative, patient, and very well priced--especially given the exemplary customer service and quality of work. One of the items was a type of repair, the other was completely repurposing a pair of earrings. She met with me more than once to be certain I was happy with the new design and both times, the final result more than exceeded my expectations!! I would strongly encourage anyone looking for a repair, to repurpose an item, or looking to buy or design something new to meet with Gayla before they go anywhere else. The results will astonish you!! She is a GEM and I will never go to another jewelry store in the future for any of my jewelry needs. I cannot recommend Gayla and Southern Gem highly enough!! I am already saving for my next project and can't wait to work with her again!!

Gayla, at Southern Gem, is amazing. She has done several types of jewelry repairs and restorations and cleaning for me and has been quick, reasonably priced and was willing to help us even curbside. Communication between us and her genuine helpful personality made working with her a pleasant experience. She will be completely up front and honest with you at all times. She is a stress free answer to your jewelry needs and questions.

Gayla was amazing and really came through when I didn’t think it was possible. My girlfriend didn’t know what to do with her favorite bracelet pendant that had broken. I took it with out her knowing last year in an attempt to have it made into a necklace for her birthday. Well, that turned out to be a harder challenge than expected. Needless to say, I wasn’t able to make that happen for her birthday last year.nAfter visiting several Jewelers this past year and being told it was almost impossible to attach a chain to the delicate hooks on the pendent, I became very frustrated and thought it wasn’t going to happen. That was until I met Gayla. Not only did she make it happen, she did it in a week!!! It looks amazing!!! I am now going to be able to give it to her for Valentines Day!nThank you for the everything!!
