Such and amazing little cafe! Anytime we have any sort of event we order custom sugar cookies and they are always a huge hit!!! The food is great, the sweets are amazing, and the service is unbeatable!
My wife and I and 2 teenage granddaughters tried to eat at Salt & Sugar on Good Friday but did not get accommodated. The place was nice and clean for a small boutique cafe and the front staff were nice. One granddaughter was a special needs with eating challenges and there was nothing on the menu that fit her eating preferences. The counter hostess and my wife talked and the hostess said maybe they could prepare a simple grilled cheese sandwich for my granddaughter but would talk to the cook. There was not one customer in the cafe at the time (11:30am) so we were hopeful to be able to eat there. The hostess returned with a disappointed expression saying they were too busy in the kitchen to make a grilled cheese for her, so we had to choose to leave.nWe moved to Katy in 2020 and this was the first day to explore town square Katy.. So yes we were disappointed. Maybe some day we can return without the granddaughter and be accommodated with a menu item; but don’t ask for anything special even for special need kids.
My wife surprised me for my birthday with delicious treats from this place. From the chocolate chip cookies, to the brownies, to the apple rum cake, to the vanilla bean mini cake, EVERYTHING was delicious! My wife doesn't know this yet, but I will be making her go there more often.
Lovely little coffee shop...clean and cute. Great coffee and desserts!! The owner and staff are very friendly!!
Wonderful bakery! The scones are absolutely delicious! Everything we got was fresh and the customer service was above and beyond. The owner is very friendly and a joy to speak with. I am so happy to have them here in Katy.
