I rented from them a few years and and planned to rent again. I submitted a question online and no one ever responded so I ended up having to call.nI rented a regalia set. Before I could pick it up, the ceremony was cancelled due to Covid. They said no refunds. I asked could I put the rental cost toward the purchase of a custom gown. A custom gown is $1600. They said I could put half toward the purchase. I can also purchase a custom gown for the same price from the manufacturer. Also, they require you either leave a check for $600 as a deposit or they charge a debit or credit card $600 and refund it when you bring the rental back. There has got to be a better way. I get they are losing money because of not as many ceremonies. They even had the nerve to suggest that I would need it for a virtual ceremony or could I use it to take pictures. No, I'm not a student, I'm faculty. I don't need to take pictures. When I called to reserve it, the clerk asked if I was African. Then he said well I know you aren't because you speak perfect English. When I didn't respond to this xenophobic comment, he tried to clean it up by saying well I guess a New Yorker wouldn't understand me either. Y'all go head and keep my $100 bucks. The site doesn't mention that they don't allow refunds.

Was able to get a last minute cap and gown here for a way better price than where the school wanted us to go! They made it so easy with curbside service and smiles all around. Wish I would've known about this place for my other grads.

I love this store. Some years ago I purchased my cap a gown and ring from there. I went there today so I can get my son's cap and gown. Very sweet people I am trying to get my son's classmates to come get their caps and gowns from here....
