I have sister locs, and I strongly dislike washing and conditioning my hair. I picked Studio XIV as my go to salon firstly because of her affordable pricing, in addition to, I love Chris' energy and conversation. She's professional and is very knowledgeable in her field. She'll also recommend products for your texture of hair so you'll be able to care for your hair at home. I'm in and out of her salon within a reasonable time which allows me to continue with my day as desired. I always leave feeling refreshed. Thank you Chris for being consistent. Book with her!!!

I visited Chris at Studio XIV on February 1st. I was looking for a stylist in the Houston area because I live there part-time.nShe was very professional with booking my appointment. When I arrived, Chris was very welcoming and walked me thru what my appointment would consist of. I received a color, trim and silk-out! And as of today my hair is still has body and looks extremely healthy! I will be back very soon!
Chris is amazing to work with. She understands my wants but also isn’t afraid to tell me my needs to provide a healthy life for my hair. She takes pride in keeping my hair strong, growing & glowing. I highly recommend her services to all my friends.
