We looked at most of the Spring Branch middle schools and actually chose this one because it was the most organized school we visited. Excellent staff with wonderful programs for the kids and an impressive parent participation. The sports programs do very well in the district and the coaches are very caring professionals. The music programs are excellent with the cutest programs all year. This middle school gears children for college with after school tutoring and hallways filled with college banners. I really cannot say enough about the teaching staff. I have been a heavy volunteer there throughout the years and I personally love the children. The kids are very friendly and very smart and very well behaved. Principal Chai has impressed me with her commitment to her post. An excellent team and in my opinion the best school in Spring Branch period.

My son currently attends Spring Woods Middle School and this is by far the worst school he has ever been to. The students here are cruel and the teachers/ office personnel do nothing to discipline their actions. Sending my son to school is heartbreaking!!! And I should not feel that way and my son shouldn’t feel that it’s torture!!! Just yesterday he came home from school begging me to move because in gym he was changing and a student came up behind him and pulled his shirt over his head! I can’t even begin to explain everything that is happening to him but I can tell you ITS NOT RIGHTAND NO ONE SEEMS TO CARE!!! My sons exact words were “I wish they would do something about it instead of just telling kids to leave me alone” I am disgusted with this school! ud83dude21

I am in 8th grade love it have been here since 6th grade. Class of 2021 as former student body president I can honestly say it was not the best middle school by far but there are a couple teachers who really make a difference I would not say their names for privacy reasons but if one of those teachers is reading this they know who I am and they know who they are.
