This is place is great! Ordered dozen cupcakes and dozen cookies. The staff was super helpful and friendly, had no clue what to put on the cookies, so they happily offered color and design ideas. The cupcakes were a hit along with the cookies . Happily returning!

I ordered cookies from here for my wedding ceremony since we postponed our reception and thus would not have a cake. Communication was sufficient; sometimes I needed to follow up on emails, but generally they were answered in a timely manner. The cookies may not be the most intricately or meticulously decorated, but for the price they were just right. I provided a simple design for my bulk order so that it was difficult to mess up. I am very satisfied with the value, look, taste, and softness of the cookies. Everyone loved them, and even though I ordered way more than guests that showed up, the leftovers ran out in just a few days.

Horrible customer service. Ordered two weeks in advance. I needed to make a small change to an order and left a voicemail that was never returned. Two days before our party I heard back and they were unwilling to make the change the color of icing. They were incredibly rude and demeaning. Not good to work with - I won’t go back. Too many great places in Houston with nice staff willing to work with you to make things right.

We've gone to Memorial Bakery twice now for cakes and been very happy with the results each time. They also have a pretty good selection of frosted cookies, cupcakes, and baked goods available.

My parents have been loyal customers of Memorial Bakery since they were at their old location. All my birthday cakes as a child came from them, so when it came time for my wedding cake of course we did a tasting here. I will say they don’t have as many fancy flavor combinations, but their white cake with lemon curd is so amazing we didn’t miss it! We saved a ton by ordering a small 2 tier cake for us to cut with a sheet cake in the back to be served to our guests. We also ordered 3 dozen cupcakes: Reese’s, cookies and cream, and strawberry. Those were so good in hindsight we should have ordered more for our guests because they were gone in an instant! If you want to support local, save some costs, and get a delicious cake, be sure to check them out!
