great experience but you really want to call ahead, i like to take my sporty/outdoorsy out-of-town friends here when they come visit. it's a great time on the bay

Had a blast with my partner and our dog on two sea kayaks. People in this area are very nice and the water was fun to be on even with the boats speeding around with their kids bouncing around on the water behind. Excellent staff, good rate, quiet neighborhood. Will do this again for sure.

My SO and I went on the nature self guided tour early on a Sunday. They were super nice, very knowledgeable of the area, and the kayaks were great. The views were spectacular. I would highly recommend and we will be back!

The people at Pinky’s were awesome and patient despite my cranky mood! They were personable and helpful and even swapped out a friend’s equipment with no issue when he decided he wanted to kayak instead of paddle board. They have a great group rate and I’ll be looking to bring a group later this summer.

The three-hour, self-guided Nature Lover's Tour was an ABSOLUTE treat! My family and I went on a Saturday for the 10:00am time slot. The online registration was quick and easy and gave a ton of information about each type of tour. Upon arrival (15 minutes before departure time as noted in the confirmation), we were immediately greeted by a cute puppy and staff. We were offered cold, bottled water, handed a map and given a few tips (like staying as close to the center of the lake as possible in order to avoid stumps and muddy sandbars). The staff both loaded and unloaded the kayaks for us. For our particular tour, we actually followed a truck with the Kayaks to our take-off destination just a few miles down the road. In our group we had one experienced kayaker, two intermediate and one first-timer and all thoroughly enjoyed our experience. Because we left a little later in the morning (10:00am) in June it was HOT, so I suggest booking the earlier time slots and bringing extra water/a hydration pack for those summer months. We saw three gators, a turtle, what appeared to be Gar, lots of fish (one even jumped into my husband's kayak!) and TONS of beautiful birds (I highly recommend for birders!). The preserve is beautiful, relaxing and a mild trip for any one looking for a fun way to enjoy the natural habitat. We are so grateful to Pinky's for the lovely experience, quality kayaks, and the helpful, friendly staff. We can't wait to go back!
