Frustratingly beautiful. The waterfall/cascade and limestone canyon here are remarkable by North TX standards, yet the canyon is off limits and the waterfall is neglected and has a tire in it's splash pool. Too bad it's too late for this to be a state park. ud83dude1e Perhaps the town could at least celebrate the waterfall a little more with a cleanup, a trail or view point, a hedge row to block road noise and a nice name?

to all fishermen . Guadalupe bass gold mine . I won't say where the honey hole is. you will have to find it yourself.
My family loves this quaint park and bodega. It has several historical markers, including a cotton gin circa 1840's, and a monument with small statue honoring military service. A small creek runs alongside the park, which is itself located near a locus of small-town-Texas shops, restaurants and service stations.nHere some of my daughters are picking up rocks to paint and return to hide for the next family to find :)
