A friend of mine booked our spot at this ranch to celebrate her birthday. I was pleasantly surprised that there was not horse dung on my boots. I also was expecting to be on trails with high weeds and chiggers and horse flies on the horses and flying in my face. I did not experience any of that. The horse I was riding on was pretty gentle. I became comfortable pretty quick. When the ride was over Jackson appeared to be telling me bye. The owner Merry is welcoming and Courtney was a great guide for us novices. We look forward to returning! Thank you for the pleasant experience!

Courtney was awesome, very knowledgeable and the trail is awesome, very scenic. Horses ud83dudc0e are very trustworthy, you can tell are very well taken care off. Great experience and would go back.

What a BLESSING!!! We LOVED our time at Hopper Ranch! The people who run the ranch were so helpful by telling us what to expect, and provided excellent communication setting up the day and time for our visit. We felt very welcome, safe, and free to be ourselves and just enjoy the country and the animals. The horses were the best behaved, most trustable horses I have ever ridden. I could tell they were well trained, cared for, and loved. My kids, 5 and 7, were asking how soon we could come back before we were even in the car to leave the property. Oh and the property is gorgeous. Lovely place, people, horses, and overall experience. Great memory making adventures. We all look forward to returning!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience at Hopper Ranch. Merry is a GEM and patiently let my girls love on her horses. We are only in Texas for a short while and I was looking for an iconic activity for the kiddos that they will hopefully remember for years to come. Merry let the girls lead, brush and assist with saddling while also teaching them basic ways to guide the horse. The kids had a blast and I was so grateful to be able to give them a well-rounded introduction to these amazing creatures!
