A friend and I came to the Roanoke Library to study for our Nursing school final. They only have two private study rooms with 2 hour limits on the room. We had about 8 books out each studying for our final and we were asked twice to leave the room so someone else could study. That's fine and I understand that we can't have the room all day when someone else needs to study. However, the girl that replaced us and took over the room was just sitting in the room on her phone and not studying. The library also wouldn't let us push tables together or use any other unoccupied rooms. They also wouldn't even let us sit in the Teen section even though it was completely vacant. I will be sticking with our local Saginaw Library because their environment is conducive to learning and encourage learning. We met up here because it was a central location for both of us but won't be going to the Roanoke Library anymore.
