University Park Public Library

University Park Public Library is the gold star standard of what a library should be. Thank y’all so very much for being excellent!

Staff is extremely rude. It’s a shame because it’s such a beautiful library, but the staff have no idea how to speak to people with respect.

Love this library. So clean and modern. Large windows that allow the natural light in. Has lots of restaurants around in case you get hungry while studying. Best part is free coffee! They have a quiet study room, conference room, and group study rooms as well.

Very nice library and a good selection of book, BUT there is this one employee that has a huge attitude and needs to lean how to respect people. I put in the three books in the return slot to check out three more. [I have a Texas library card that only lets me check out thee books at a time] The employee only pulled out two of the three book and claimed that there are no more books inside expect for children books and would not let me check out my third book. When I asked her where the book could have gone and asked to look into the return bin she replied with rude attitude and didn't look in the bin. I took the two books, went to my car, double checked everywhere to see if it fell, it didn't, went back to the library and asked agin to see the return bin. Agin with a rude attitude and remarks she looked in the bin without moving other books around, then I took it upon my self to be proactive and take a look for my self. With the employee not letting go of the bin and for whatever reason keeping a strong grip on it. I moved the books around and wouldn't you know it, the book was right there in the bin under a Childs book. Without saying anything for example sorry she checked out the third book that I originally wanted and agin with attitude. Hopefully this dose not deter anyone from going to this library, just don't get interact with a certain disrespectful employee.

This is an amazing library. I can mention many great things but I am going to limit myself to praise the beautifully arranged furniture, it truly is an ideal place to study, read, work, etc.
