When I was getting my first car (2009), I didn't know what to look for. Eventually, I told my grandparents and they told me about a guy who finds cars for a good price. He asked ,e what I was looking for. Naturally, with it being my first car, I had a small list:1) The engine works.2) I can get from A to B with the least hassle.3) The air conditioning works (I live in Texas).I also told him about how I did my learning in a Honda and I liked the way it handled. Eventually, he found me a couple of Corollas to look through. He said that two of them were in excellent condition (although one of them felt like it had shock and steering problems) while the third one was in a wreck and had repair work done. However, he guaranteed they all worked. I took the best one with the least amount of problems: a 1996 Toyota Corolla. When we had our mechanic work on it, he said that he was amazed that the car was in as good of condition as it was. The only work he did on it was replace the steering fluid, replace a brake light, and reconnect the electronics in one of the doors.
