Great museum! It’s in the old post office and the displays and presentations are loaded with historical info about the area. The two films were pretty good and the staff was helpful. Glad we visited.

Flawless place. I volunteer here and it's small and quick to go through but has so much information..
This is a most outstanding venue to understand the blessing of living in McKinney and the Collin County area.nI think it should be visited by everyone now enjoying the benefits of living in such a successful and safe area.nGo by and learn about those who came before us and made today possible. You might recognize some of the place names you see, now. The displays change so one visit might not be enough.
What a nice surprise to find the Collin County History Museum! The Then & Now exhibit is extremely well curated - the technology used to tour the museum is very impressive! We were warmly greeted upon arrival and, when we were ready to leave, had a great conversation with a staff (volunteer?) about museums related events.
