I've lived all over the country, and I've never experienced a cheaper library than the McKinney library system. They have almost no new books, and they have only 2 locations for almost 200k people. Every time I find a book I want to read I have to request it on interlibrary loan and then wait a month. Where are all our tax dollars going? Not to mention the number of people I saw at the Memorial Library not wearing masks...
Great book selection. Helpful staff.
I absolutely love this library. My children love to go for the different classes and they always have the book and dvds were looking for

Awesome library with a great atmosphere. On a different note, I also drive a Tesla and there happened to be a regular car parked in the EV charging parking spot. “Gary” kindly assisted in making an announcement over the speaker for them to move their car, which they did. Aside from his great customer service, he had bright personality & sharply dressed. Professionalism at its finest. Thank you Gary!
