I often go there for hair styling and they did their job perfectly.
Such a great salon. Great team of artists! Shop is always clean, comfortable, relaxing atmosphere. Such a refreshing change from other places. Austin is a fantastic stylist who cuts my hair perfectly every time. I’m so happy to have found my go to place. Thank you Austin!
This salon did an amazing job with fixing my girlfriend's hair. She had received a very bad cut from another person and was miserable. I contacted this salon and was texted back within minutes asking what we needed and working to fit us in quickly when we had time. They did an amazing job fixing her hair and making it look so good. The price was great and the service was amazing. Super friendly staff and they did everything to make us feel comfortable. Parking is in downtown so it's not amazing but it is ok. Handicap access is not possible without assistance as it is upstairs with a narrow stairway due to being a historic building. Not sure if they have an elevator. Finding it can be difficult as it is only 1 door but if you use Google it will take you there. We will be back for sure.
Skylight is my happy place. No, seriously.nnI love the vibe, the stylists, the products, it’s really just one of my favorite places to be. Lauren (one of the owners) is a color goddess. Plus, one conversation with her and you want to be best friends with her. She runs a tight business, truly cares about customers and their experience, she nurtures her people and has built a team of amazing professionals that help make this place great. Speaking professionals, I have been going to Hannah for almost 3 years and, while I don’t want to add to her already booked schedule, she is the best. Hannah has grown me out from short pixie to long bob beautifully, transitioned my color, completely and totally healed my hair and I couldn’t recommend her more. She cares. She is brilliant and beautiful. Funny story: I don’t even bother telling her what to do anymore, I just trust her and I leave happy 100% of the time. Even as a pretty light blonde, my color stays brilliant because she is a master at weaving highlights for a natural look.nnHonestly, no matter where you live, Skylight is worth the drive. I have never been disappointed in three years. Can’t say enough good things about this awesome group of humans.
Had Austin cut my hair! Best hair cut I’ve ever had! He gets his work done quickly and professionally, but he also won’t let you leave the chair until you absolutely love your hair. A big thing for me also is that he is really easy to talk to. His personality just makes you happy when you sit in his chair and talk to him. Definitely recommend anyone who wants to get their hair cut to go to Austin! He is the kind of barber you’ll want for a lifetime!
