Great service! Easiest car buying experience I’ve ever had! Spent a hour on the phone one evening going over the car I was interested in and financing options. Spent two hours on site inspecting the car, test driving, and doing all the paperwork. I love it. I’ll definitely be a returning customer!

What a fantastic car selling experience! It started with simple online form that resulted in a promised offer which was very competitive. Next was the in-person inspection - they were busy, so it took some time (~1hr), but they confirmed the online offer and I was on my way - I had to come back with my wife,who was the owner. They closed out deal in about another hour. Overall, I'm very happy with the experience and will be back the next time we need to buy (or sell) a car.

I want to thank CarMax for wasting 4 weeks of my life waiting on a car. I saw one at another location, inquired through the app, got an immediate phone call about the transfer and from there things went down hill. I got an email about 10 days later saying the car was in McKinney and I’d get a call when it was ready. Well, no call ever came. I called several times to find out what was happening. The circular voice system kept telling me I’d get a call when the car was ready. I finally was able to talk to a sales rep who multiple times told me things were good, then would text with delays. The most irritating aspect of the experience was that I had to initiate communication. I received none without pushing. This was a debacle and very disappointing. And here’s the funny thing- I WANTED TO BUY A CAR!nnUpdate- CarMax replied below and gave me an 800 number to call. I did. A pleasant voice answered, said that’s awful and “escalated” my call to an “analyst”. There, I was put on hold for 20 minutes before I hung up. They have not called back.nnUpdate- got a call from the sales manager. They set up an appointment for me to come in. I was treated well. Bought my car. Diamond was very pleasant and easy to work with. Would be 5 Star had it not been for the 3 weeks of delays. All’s well that ends well.

Well it started off great. I found a truck that I liked and went through the process to buy it. They offered me half of what I was able to sale my other car for as a trade in. So don’t expect them to give you a fair price on your car. After you pay for your vehicle that is about all the service that your going to get. I have called the salesman that I worked with three times to ask for help with a service issue. He hasn’t even bothered to call me back. I went around him and made an appointment directly. I was able to set up an appointment 2 weeks out. When I arrived it seems that the service department is in disarray. They asked me if the part I ordered was in. I said, “I made this appointment over 2 weeks ago, so I hope so.” He said, “none of the employees from two weeks ago were here to ask.” 100% turnover? Told it would take about an hour. Long story short your better off having your service taken car of somewhere else.

Easy and simple with great customer service from the time we walked into McKinney location. Seems like everyone enjoys what there doing. Cole came to us with the offer and it was not a penny short of the online quote so I was not prepared to turn car in ASAP, however I did bring it back later that day. Will definitely do business with CarMax in the future.
