nesmith elementary has amazing teachers and awesome staff. there 4th grade is filled with amazing teachers that care about you deeply. i loved this school and i highly recommend it for you.

I unenrolled my son after his first school year at this school. Community isd makes you pay for things other schools give the students on field day and other days. Also I don't feel like they are really pushing these kids to achieve more. The school does not offer advanced academics which is why my daughter had to go to a different school. She is so smart and this school doesnt offer anything except GT to challenge kids like her! That's unacceptable to me! She is in advanced classes and Gifted and talented. My daughter deserves the best! As for the year my son spent here, I was not impressed the school! His teachers were nice and great but I still feel like he should be further ahead. Also I went on the field trip with him and asked the teacher if he always acts this distracted and hyper. She says all day everyday. Ok why was I never informed so we can get him help? Apparently no one thought I should know! Things like this is why no one in my family will return.
