Where do I begin? When you place a loved one in the care of someone else, you always try to find the best place possible. We were told that Pate in fact was. So we went with them. The care was good as far as we know. We had some caregivers we loved. Jeffrey was by far our favorite. I will say the office staff and people in charge of getting the clerical part taken care of are absolutely horrible!!! My loved one was having a procedure done at the hospital and my mother received a phone call that he couldn’t go back to Pate. They stated insurance wasn’t going to pay anymore. Well being an insurance coordinator myself, you don’t wait till that day to find out that information. Especially since he has been there for months. This was sprung on us so sudden and it’s very unprofessional. I will never recommend this place to anyone ever. Please be aware that this could happen to your loved one. He now is about to be released from the hospital and there is NOTHING at home for him. No bed for us to care for him or anything!!! Have they offered to help?! Not at all. Just furious!!!

I started yesterday 02-24-2020, for a position that I'm over qualified for. My first overall impression is not a good one. I was asked to sign a job description for a position that I'm not doing, to be told that they dont have job description for what I will be doing.nnThe orientation is watch videos and read there manual. I'm coming in with a HR background, and already see so many things that are wrong. A company that is looking to hire bodies, and offer horrible pay.

It will be 4 years this December that I was at PATE. I was and am still amazed at what care is given to all there. The resources at the survivors finger tips and that of family is a gift.nnThe feedback, the pushing to help get better and encouragement is appreciated.

Exghuasting when you are the patient, but very rewarding in the end.
