There's a quilting collection on display that is amazing. The detail of the designs is so very intricate...you have to see it. Loved that the quilters stories are posted beside each display.

For a great introduction to the history of Harlingen, this is a sure stop for you! It's not the largest museum, but what it offers is quaint charm, and an interactive experience. The tour is self guided and free. Support the museum with donations as it is a great way to keep the historical spirit of Harlingen alive.
