My boys both went and one is still at Jackson, and they both love this school, the staff, and especially the teachers they've had there! I am a very involved parent that spends a lot of time at the school, and I have nothing but positive things to say about it. Amazing principal and teachers who legitimately care about the students well being and their future and goes the extra mile to make the environment safe at the school. This is a Title 1 school, with a very diverse group of students and families, but that makes it even more a special place to be and our family will be sad when our last one is done here.
The staff and teachers are very rude even rude to the parents. Some faculty even bully the kids which is horrible an adult should not be bullying or being mean to students. And the school does not do anything to help with the bullying. There are very few teachers that are very nice and respectful but most of them are not. I would not recommend this school to anyone!!!!!
I went to this school from 97 to 99...and I loved it....my favorite teacher was my football coach Mr. Workman and the principal..Mr defosset...I have some great memories from there...
I love the school it's the place you want your kid to go
My daughter is special needs and the kids there are so mean and teachers get cursed out by staff and say nothing I'm like wow but I'm about to take her out they say she have to go there but I had enough of this school it's always something my daughter was getting beat up and they did nothing and the principle had no clue it was going on don't let your child go here it's the pits nice at first but the girls touching my daughter inappropriately and enough is enough I'm getting a lawyer and Sue this school
