KIPP Un Mundo Primary School

My son is half white from his mom's side. He was constantly picked on. After complaining to teachers and administrators the bullying continued and nothing was done. He would constantly come home and tell me stories like how kids would call him dumb a$$ marshmallow. And after I found out his kindergarten teacher was herself abusing children i couldn't keep him there. We now moved to NISD and his school is better on every level. I get what they were trying to create there but it has seemed to fail at least one child.

My son attended this school for about 3 yrs.It was an AWESOME school all staff was always friendly and helpful.My son is Dyslexic,ADHD,BIPOLAR,AND ODD and he was handled very well by all his teachers and other staff especially in times of behavior issues..Now he is at Aspire.The teaching at Un Mundo is Wonderful and my son's grades went up when I transferred him out of public school system to charter school system...ud83dude42

Im so discussted with kipp un mundo the kids are full of lise and bugs there is alot of bullying the kids are out of control. They talk so much about grit, self control, respect and etc. The teacher's are always on the phone or talking and joking with one another . i rea thought it was a good school but im so disappoint.

School has incompetent teacher staff. My child is in kindergarten, and teachers called my wife and I 12 times because disruptive behavior from my son. We were instructed to sit in school as we did, when we attended classroom, this was what I saw. Teacher had NO control of kids, safety issues, there were at least 5 children with special needs( autism, etc.) and NO accommodations attended, poor teaching quality, teachers and staff were on cell phones texting, and I saw a kinder garden child wondering the hall ways for 15 minutes and was passed up by 2 teachers and no one attended the child until 15 minutes later.nMy wife and I were called again a day later alleging that my child was disruptive. My wife and I were frustrated again wondering what is the issue. When I arrived I addressed the issue about why we are being called for 13th time, I decided this was enough so I took my son and and told the staff I will once and for handle issue by grabbing my belt and spanking son in formal manner in the buttocks. The staff threatened to call police and to report me, I advised them this is my son and I have the right to discipline my son in a formal manner. Two days later I was reported to CPS and currently under review for investigation for spanking my son inside the school after the school had called my wife and I 13 times. KIPP Un Munro is a joke, the system is broken, and there is no education standards. I plan to remove my two kids and suggest others to do the same. I will do plan to have the school to be investigated for their teaching standards.

Worst school EVER! The teachers and staff have ZERO control over the children. Every time there's an incident that happens there's NEVER a teacher in site! There's so much bullying in that school it's ridiculous! I can't wait to get my kids out and put them in public school. This school really does suck and it's sad cause I would think it would meet up to its standards since they are always talking about grit and ECT. But no they are such a BIG disappointed. My daughter got touched in her private area by a little boy in her class and she was not the only girl that did and the school did absolutely NOTHING! Instead they had the little boy write a letter saying he is sorry! What is that teaching girls? That it's okay to get touched as long as they apologize after! My son is in kindergarten and he as well as had issues! He comes home telling me that other boys in his class are hitting him he even came home with the words LOSER written on his forehead! And guess what? No teacher in sight! I'm beyond done with this school and I really hope they close it down.
