Very good BBQ from a family run establishment. The food was beyond excellent, far better than any of the chains. The service was very welcoming and pleasant. Will always stop there again on way through San Antonio.

Travelling through Texas and was searching for good BBQ and we found it at Brickyard BBQ. THE FOOD WAS SO TASTY. The atmosphere was comfortable and clean. The staff was family so the vibe was right. My family and I loved listening to the stories and history behind the interior decore. Plus a bar in back!!!! 10/10 DEFINITELY recommend

Native Texan and from San Antonio. We've tried ALL the BBQ places around. SERIOUSLY the best and most consistent BBQ anywhere. Aside from the delicious food, the places is spotless.... Again consistently getting 100 on city code compliances. Owners are super friendly.... And don't forget to check out their bar at the back.

Family owned business, super friendly owners. Food was fantastic. I had tender chopped brisket and hubby had rib plate with sides. Interesting story on interior design from the Chicago fire. Highly recommend and close to University Hospital.

Not much to look at from the outside but once you are inside a totally different story. Nice and clean inside filled with natural light. Ribs were meaty and delicious. Brisket has nice marbling. Potato salad was ok because it wasn't store bought but doesn't truly have any flavor. Not sure what the red things were in my potato salad but I digress....the beans were flavorful and it reminded me of eating a nice bowl of chili. There's no meat in the beans but they will fill you up. I'm not a fan of anyone's BBQ sauce but this place actually has a good sauce I can use instead of me bringing my own sauce everywhere. Can't wait to go back and try the fries. Staff seems happy and cashier woman was very pleasant.
