I have been to this restaurant several times now, and the food has been consistently good. I love the brisket, cole slaw, macaroni & cheese, and potato salad. The potato salad is awesome! This is coming from someone who doesn't particularly care for that stuff. It comes with eggs, as well. And gotta love the Texas toast!
Has ownership changed? My last two visits the food wasn't that great. The flavors have changed. The portions are smaller. The cashier had no personality. The meat was weighed along with other portions in the container.
The best food in Texas. Oh wait that is their name. The only problem here is they do not sell Fried Pies! What a crime!nn20 truck parking spots $10. To sleep over night. I took photos of the truck parking since the owner has not done so. If you miss the truck entrance you can go around the block. Also 2 gas pumps got burned down and can not be used.
Wow, I truly enjoyed my lunch I had the zucchini yellow squash and carrots veggies the potatoes were excellent everything was season to perfection. beef brisket was very tender, great flavor you don't have to mask it with BBQ sauce just eat it how they slice it . Chicken breast was so tender full of flavor. I enjoyed it so much I called them back to let them know that I was a happy satisfied customer. Don't change anyting keep doing what you're doing.
Whoops! Paid parking now. What a great strategy to ensure I will never spend a dime here again.
