I live here and us neighbors are like family and we all look out for each other. During these bad virus times we feel safer here at home than we would out in town! The staff goes above and beyond too. They deliver us food all day. Even the boy from the front office Winston and his boss Patrick come by to make sure we are fed and have what we need. They even helped me carry my stuff in one day when they saw me struggling. Thank goodness for my community, my neighbors and the people who work here who keep us safe!

We are very fortunate to have Mom at Meridian of Temple. It is not easy for independent people to have to move to senior living but Meridian of Temple has been a blessing for us. Mom has had to be in skilled care twice but both times they got her back up and independent in her apartment. The staff has been so courteous and respectful and there for her when she needed some help. You can get as much help or be as independent as you want. And lastly, the community of people who live there are really outstanding and friendly and positive. Mom does not participate in all the wonderful activities but she certainly feels that this is home for her. Thank you to the Staff.

My mother recently stayed here for 2 months. We were very please with care. Everyone was very caring and loving. All the nurses were very patient and caring. We would not hesitate to go back, if we ever need to again. Pam, her nurse, was especially good and my mother became quite fond of her. She will be missed. Wonderful experience!

Skilled Nursing Facility staff merely view this as a job and have no desire to go above and beyond for the good of the resident or the family. They merely check the box on the basics, and they do not do that well. I believe an elderly family member has the right to age gracefully. This SNF does not seem to abide by the same standard. If you must place a family member in their care, be prepared for daily vigilance on your part.nnWe moved our family member due to the staff's lack of concern for resident cleanliness. Other families have done the same. We know of one case that a resident was not bathed for 3 weeks! Unbelievable but true. That family of course moved their loved one as did we. We were also constantly missing items......clothes, glasses, phone chargers and the like. The staff was clueless and had no explanation. Cannot recommend this facility under any circumstances. Go elsewhere. Some things are understandable, but lack of cleanliness is inexcusable!!

My daughter researched and selected Brookdale Meridian after I had a stroke. She made a terrific choice. The staff was so helpful and kind. The food was very good and I actually gained weight! The therapy staff was excellent. I had 3 hrs of therapy every day. Both the staff and I worked hard and as a result I was able to return home in 3 weeks. If I have another episode I would want to return to the Meridian.
Similar place
