A great little swimming hole. Got here around 11 am on a Saturday to do some snorkeling. Unfortunately didn't find too many fish. There were a few other families out which made it seem like its pretty popular and occasionally can get very busy. The river itself is beautiful. We backpacked and camped nearby and had a great time!

It’s a great place to snorkel, especially for families and novices. The water is shallow and the current isn’t very strong so pretty much anyone can snorkel. There are a lot of fish, mostly small but in some of the deeper parts you can see some that are over a foot long and the water is very clear. I went in the first week of August and the water was not cold, definitely don’t need a wetsuit.

The place deserves 5 stars. Great swimming hole. Beautiful clear water. The star removed is for those of you leaving your trash on the ground. Don’t leave your junk-pack your stuff back out. Don’t trash nature!nnIf you are going to go, take a trash bag with you so we can clean up and keep it beautiful!

Wear lifejackets and keep a eye on each other the water current is strong in some places and deep in others. Really neat place with lots of fish to see. It's free. Bring food and drinks there are no places to buy food nearby. Restroom is substandard

This a very unique place to fresh water snorkel. The water was very cold, but very clear! We saw a few types of fish.
