Primitive campground with nice bathhouse 30 or so campsites some on lake front nice people
I really like it out there you have camping fishing hiking bath house park for the kids n much more
The sunset and sunrise is beautiful at this spot! I’ve gone here since I was a kid every summer- that was over 10 years ago. Since then owners, host, and park rangers have come and gone. Personally I do have a complaint and recommendation. There is an RV park not to far from here for a reason. I remember when I was kid and all I could hear was the fire going, the light post buzzing, waves, maybe some talking, now all I hear that thing. It’s very annoying and has kept many of people to return for a stay. You can only really get swimming in atthe beginning of the summer but when it starts getting mid August the algae will eat you up. Not this parks fault though it’s a beautiful area to walk your dog on a LEASH, you will be fined if not. It’s very clean and bathrooms as well. Overall though I love it.nWish the back area could be open again.
This is a beautiful, peaceful little spot tucked in next to the Tennessee River. Nice spacious camping spots and super clean, heated bathrooms with hot water! This is super important when camping in the middle of November! Enjoy!
Please do not bring your generator. If you must...please be sure it’s a quiet one. We come here for peaceful camping. Campsites are very close. Great views.
