I highly recommend NHC Scott for rehab and skilled nursing services. My dad was there for almost a year and used both services. He stayed there from November 2019 to October 19 2020 under their care and passed away at 90 years of age. All the staff was friendly, caring, and attentive to his needs. They always kept me in the loop as to his status including any changes in medication or concerns. I also found the doctor assigned to him at NHCS to be very competent. The doctor had good working relationship with the staff and my Dad liked him and all the staff there. NHCS protected all their patients from Covid as they were the most susceptible. They also constantly tested their employees to prevent the spread of Covid to patients. It was the right thing to do. On occasion, my Dad wanted to eat 'fast food' from a restaurant in Lawrenceburg. At lunch, they would go and buy his food at Wendy's, Zaxby's etc whatever he wanted, and bring it to him. That made him very happy as he like 'fast food.' If you are looking for a facility to help take care of an elderly family member, I highly recommend NHC Scott. They took great care of my Dad and did a A+ job. Thank you staff for all you did for my Dad.

Would not recommend this place at all ! If you can’t check on your loved one , which we could not due to Covid virus they will not get cared for! Our mother went there in late March early April of this year for oxygen therapy. They then convinced my brother she need physical therapy for Medicare money I’m sure! I’m a nurse so I know ! She broke her foot while there had boot put on and we were told she got 1 hour a day therapy! But now she is so weak and can’t even get up or she gets dizzy! She cold use walker before this !

Check out “US Health News” and their rating of this facility compared to others in this area before choosing a facility. NHC Scott ranks higher than average with both care and staffing.

This facility will not give meds your under care for(asthma etc).. while under rehab from surgeries etc. This is a very unorganized, under staffed place. Do not recommend for your loved ones. They do not follow drs orders, who sent you for rehab.
