I never thought about how difficult it would be to fine a criminal offense attorney until I found myself in need of one. I spoke to a number of them before Mr. Massey was recommended by an acquaintance. I called his office and his legal assistant took down all the details of my case and in the process asked some very good questions I would have never thought to mention. By the time I found Mr. Massey I did not have much time before my first court hearing. As I remember his assistant called me back the very next morning with a quote for his presentation and how far it would take me into the process. I signed a contract the next day and met Mr. Massey a day or so later. We had a very relaxed conversation. He answered all my questions and gave me a detailed breakdown on what to expect and the timeframe.nI was facing a number of charges. The most important thing we talked about was, unlike the other attorneys I spoke to, Mr. Massey was NOT going to simply throw me under the bus and plead guilty on some of the charges in hopes of getting other charges reduced or dismissed. It took a great deal of time to work my cases through the legal system but in the end all charges but one were, in fact, dismissed and I pled guilty to that one charge. As for sentencing, Mr. Massey was able to reach an agreement for the state required minimum sentencing with the exception of the fine and it was only very slightly more than the state required minimum.nI would highly recommend Mr. Massey!nI should also add, I was always treated with respect by Mr. Massey and all of his staff which is something I cannot say about some of the other offices I spoke to.
