Beautiful place to hike, picnic, boat and mature watch! Bald eagles, green and blue heron, snipers, killdeer, and tons of birds are there. I have seen braver, groundhogs, and armadillos as well as deer!
Big, Beautiful lake with plenty of space for good fishing. Usually calm and not too busy. One of my favorite local TWRA lakes.
Beautiful lake for fishing or bird watching. Nice concessions for food and supplies. Good for small boats and kayaks.
Slow bite day but after putting in a 10 hour day ended up with a limit of nice bluegill (not a shellcracker in the bunch which was odd) and a limit of catfish (2 channel and 3 blues) ranging from 3 to 5 pounds. I rate the day 4 out of 5 nitecrawlers.
Great place to fish ride horses and atv on simple trails
