To the heroes who make this heaven for elephants possible, may the lord bless you & the galaxy reward you times a million for your GENUINE compassion. Exemplary sanctuary, perfect in every way . We don’t NEED to pet them just like you don’t want strangers petting on you or your children, they DON’T EITHER. Humans stole both the freedoms they were born entitled to & their peace of mind, enslaving them for decades, inflicting torture techniques as training methods. This is the very least we can do for the atrocities we have allowed to happen to elephants by contributing to the captivity industry. Even those who are not contributing monetarily, your silence about their abuse is just as bad. Enough outrage & we could stop it forever, but we humans have so many other things to pretend to be offended about, their pleas for help fall on deaf ears & we literally deserve for them to go extinct after what we have done & continue to do to GODS creatures, who have their own purpose for existing & it’s not to “serve” greedy, lazy humans who don’t want to make a living but rather enslave someone else to do it FOR them.

Reading the negative reviews from people who are angry they can’t go see the elephants is disheartening. The premise of a true sanctuary is to provide animals, who never should have been in captivity in the first place, with a safe space to spend out their lives with as little human interaction as possible. It isn’t a zoo, the animals are not there for your entertainment, they’re there because someone else used/abused them for profit.nnThank you for what you’re doing for them. It matters so much.

I had the opportunity to volunteer with the elephant sanctuary last year. I did it in honor of my grandmother who loved elephants. I made friends during the experience and even met an alum of my school. They take great care of the elephants and I love that they don't take advantage of them for fund raising.

Hi, I can't really star rate the Sanctuary because I'm an Australian and have just finished reading Jodi Picoult, Leaving Time. Jodi refers to the elephant sanctuary and the lives and habits of elephants. The book was really endearing re: the mothering and grieving of elephants. I would love to visit the Tennessee elephant sanctuary one day when the world is COVID free. Keep up the amazing love and lives for the elephant.
