Waited in the emergency room for 2 hours! No doctor came in to see what was going on. 1 nurse came in asked what was wrong she left never came back in. I left without receiving any medical care. Will not recommend this hospital to anyone. Wish I could give 0 stars.

I was in the er with my 6 your old son a few weeks ago. The wait was a little lengthy, but I know there is a lot going on. When we were called back to the room the nursing team was waiting for us. Tammy, his main nurse was very detailed in explaining what was going on and going to be the next steps. The Doctor, was very kind and answered all my questions in a way I could understand. Seth handled our transfer to Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital and was very sweet. He took time to sit on the bed and explain everything to my very nervous son first, as he had many questions to ask, and then with me. I truly want to thank the whole team for their care for us in this time of need! Keep up the hard work!

I truly understand not allowing visitors in the emergency room during the COVID-19 pandemic, but we need to improve on our communication. I was here for over 3 hours and never had any information communicated to me about my wife who was being treated. 14 weeks pregnant and “high risk”, I had to reach out to the front desk to get any details at all and they didn’t seem to want to help. The only information they would give me was they were working on discharge papers but nothing more. Please work on being more communicative with the family.

I was taken by ambulance to ER for respiratory issues, shortness of breath! It’s a long story but I was told by T.B, NP that I wasn’t short of breath and my blood gases were normal. I was so mad I couldn’t breath, it was hard to get air in. X-ray shows double pneaumonia and she takes the oxygen away. I asked for her to come to my room and she said no. Ok my call light was never given to me either, I had to scream for help. I felt like I was sitting in a hospital and no one is helping me directly. She did not believe I was so short of breath. I suffered all night long! I will never forget that face or the fact this place lacks on quality care to their patients! I’ve been to many hospitals but this is one I will never go back to!nIn response to the reply—-I did call and reported this to house supervisor.....never heard back!!! ud83dude21
