Beware of balance billing. It is not just a problem with emergency medicine. Their practice is in network with my insurance, but they billed me in the name of the therapist I worked with who was apparently not in network. (To make it even worse, he apparently went in network about a month after I stopped going.) They told my insurance that they were going to write off the excess billing, but that is not the case. I’m on the hook for $1200 for only 5 visits.nnI’m in the healthcare field myself, and I must say this experience has been very disheartening. However, experience is the best teacher, and I try to only have to learn lessons once.

I am surprised to see any low ratings for this group. I have received so much help and encouragement from the therapists at Benchmark in Jonesborough. I started there just a few days after having a total knee replacement. I was in a lot of pain and was very worried that I would not be able to move and stretch and keep scar tissue from forming. My therapist was persistent, but kind and supportive. Within 6 weeks I was able to bend my knee to over 130 degrees. I wholeheartedly recommend this group for physical therapy. The entire staff was so encouraging and helpful. They truly care about their patients.

The best therapy place in the area. Everyone is kind and gentle. They care about the patients. I've been to several in the tri cites over my broke down body none of them has helped or as nice as this one. But with this said keep in mind you got to want to help yourself and do the exercise at home before anything or anyone can help you. I have been here over my back. It was all messed up and they fixed my back It don't bother me at all. Thanks benchmark see you real soon for my shoulder

They helped me tremendously with my back pain. I highly recommend them for back problems.
