Townsend Visitors Center

Love the history and area!

I'm not typically the visitor center or gift shop type. I believe the sign outside said the quieter side of the smokies and it lived up to it. It's actually in my top ten of places I'm glad I visited in The Smokies.

Loved the visit. The two staff members were very helpful and courteous. There are many memorabilia related to smokey mountains. The prices are really good. Would recommend this place to get something memorable. The place is just beside the road. More than enough parking at the property. The place is well maintained too. Restrooms are available at the property. Top notch.

Clean and very nice lady working. Super helpful and informative.

Very friendly and knowledgeable. Was a great help and made my stay in Townsend better.
