I just read about this church housing the homeless at night when the temperature is expected to fall below freezing. I just wanted to acknowledge this kindness. Every time you show others love you are showing them God! I see you First Baptist Church and so does God!

Huge church on 321 across from the Blount County courthouse. I'm not a member but know that they allow extracurricular activities that helps the community. Allow the homeless a place to sleep. Caregiver support group meets there regularly. I'm sure there are others. Lately, they let the Smoky Mountain Pickleball Club to play in their gym. Another charitable move since our club needs more places to play. Thank you, First Baptist of Maryville.

I visited this morning and made to feel very welcome. The singing was wonderful and the church has a sweet sprit. The pastor had a great message. I will be back after my vacation. God Bess and keep doing God’s work
